At I CAN South Sudan (ICSS), we empower communities to achieve self-reliance and sustainable livelihoods through practical economic empowerment initiatives. Our programs focus on helping individuals, especially women and youth, gain the skills and opportunities needed to improve their income and quality of life. By addressing barriers to economic participation, ICSS creates pathways for long-term financial stability and inclusive community development.

We provide training for single mothers in entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and digital financial management to equip them with the knowledge, confidence, and tools to succeed in business. Through these trainings, women learn how to manage resources effectively, make informed financial decisions, and grow sustainable enterprises. ICSS also supports them with startup capital to establish small-scale businesses, helping them generate income that supports their families and contributes to local economies. Furthermore, we connect small-scale entrepreneurs with financial service providers to improve access to savings, loans, and other essential banking services, enabling them to expand their ventures and plan for the future.

Beyond entrepreneurship, ICSS promotes agroforestry and sustainable agriculture as key drivers of economic and environmental resilience. We provide farmers with quality seeds and training on modern farming techniques to increase productivity, restore soil fertility, and protect natural ecosystems.
